Course description: This course is designed to provide senior students with in-depth analysis and design capability required for state-of-the-art digital integrated circuits. 

Design and analysis of digital integrated circuits; MOS field effect transistor characteristics; fabrication techniques for MOS; circulation of device and circuit parameters from process parameters; dc and transient analysis and design of inverters, basic logic gates and interconnect; propagation delay, noise margins, and power dissipation; designed for low-power and high-speed; bistable circuits, latches and flip-flops; dynamic circuits; semiconductor memories; gate arrays and PLAs; ESD, input/output circuits, noise; VLSI design methodologies.
